Olympic Ice Hockey Rink

Saw a picture on the Internet, of the Olympic Rings on the Ice Hockey Rink.

I wanted to see if I could get the look of all the skate marks on the ice.

What do you think?

I'd say it's pretty close. Although, if you set it in context with the rest of the rink it might improve the overall impression.

Well observed Rik. The thickness of the ice causes the image under the ice to become diffused and slightly faded and you nailed it.

I needed a similar background for a sports oriented stereogram. I cheated though and licensed a stock photo from ShutterStock.com

I really wanted to concentrate and get the look of all the Skate marks across the ice and the Olympic symbol.

You know, I didn't use to be able to see stereograms, no matter how hard I tried. Maybe because of my failing eye site I'm able to see them now.
