Problem with Size implement using Wiget Jotform

Hi Guys,

No Idea if i´m right here but let me try.

I´m really confused using my Xara Web Designer Premium 15.x
I´m trying to place a Jotform widget to ask my Customers for their Request but Size of the Widget does not fit the Windowsize.
Have tried to resize it but bad results.

Could you give me an Idea how to resolve this Problem?

Mike, Jotform's forms will have a particular width and height but when there are errors in inputs, the form gets deeper.

You have to ensure the Placeholder depth is enough to cover this.

If the form is too wide, you have to redesign it in Jotform.

Just to let you know - i´m not a Programmer in Webdesign that´s why i purchased Webdesigner Pro but may be you can Guide me through to get it work.
May be you have another Idea for a Widget wich works for me better.
First i want get this one work because it looks nice an works fine.

Mike, in your design, Select tool click on the Placeholder and simply drag the botom of the form down to make the Placeholder longer.
When you release the mouse, you should get another image rendered to show how the form should now look.

Come back if this does not work.

Hello Acorn,

Well it´s not only in draging the Placeholder but i got better results.
Anyway i think this Widget does not fit my needs, it takes my Time
As you cann see in Attachment i made it more bride in dragiing the placeholder, but to make it longer i had to click right - HTML Code body and there i set it up to 1248 to strech it to see what i need.
Over all thats too much on my screen.
Do you have another Idea or what kind of Widget is usable in my situation? may be there is someone where i can change size to fir my needs.

Preview the page - JotForm forms will show much larger on the layout/design page than they will publish. It might be a trial and error but it goes quickly.

well i did, and the screenshoots are taken from the browsers view. the problem i can see is, around the form is too much of the blue field but i cant cut it off.

yes i could blow up in wide but thats not what i want because in normal text it would fit easy.

you can see the Placeholder on the SC.
