Default Pictures/Placeholders not showing on mobile site

    Hello,
I am using Xara Webdesign Premium. I put a few pix/placeholders on my mobile site. They are showing when I do Preview Webpage on my desktop and then shorten it to look like the mobile site; however, when
I upload the site and check on my mobile phone the pix aren't there. I refresh and the pix/background I want show for a second, then go away and it's back with no pix. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Steve - I am not sure what the problem is with the variant but I have a suggestion for the site overall.

The concept of a mobile notary is pretty straight forward. I need a document notarized. You come to me to notarize the document.

You are making it much to difficult. With all your highlighted and different colored text, when I look at the home page I do not know where to look because every thing is trying to get my attention.

Focus on your service and make it as easy for me to get the information I need. If I need a notary, I don't need to read a blog. And I am not sure testimonials are important. How fast you can get to my house or place of business is important.

Simplify your message down the basics. Essentially you could accomplish everything on one simple page: Company Name, Service offered, contact information.

    Just my dos centavos.

It's probably down to your use of pagespeed script. It's probably called on load and any subsequent change of browser width no longer calls for the image to be lazy-loaded. My advise would be to remove the lazy-load scripts. there's no real need for them on your site.

Further to that, I agree with Gary's comments.

Hi. How do you remove the lazy-load scripts in the Xara software? I am not computer literate with this stuff and don't really understand it.
    Thanks

Iv'e no idea Steve, it's not included in Xara software. You must be loading it from somewhere or it's activated by your web host.

    Anyone have any clues?

Your original spot was very useful Egg.

It is not something Xara could add as it is a Google-developed server utility; https://hostpresto.com/community/tut...le-for-apache/.
Either the OP web host (GoDaddy) did it or the OP bought in a product...

Thanks Acorn. I think in the OP's case this is total overkill for a very small site. SEO optimisation gone mad, even though it wasn't the OP's intention.

Hmm. So, my web host is siteground.us. Would I contact them to add this Pagespeed Module from Google to their server? Not sure if siteground.us has apache.?
