I don't have the imagination to draw but wanted some skills. Figured give vector graphics a shot. For being new I am happy even if it is just simple shapes. Are there any youtube channels that use Xara for creating art? Quality stuff? Would have liked being able to add a textures to the leaf and shading but that is beyond me.

Love the little critter. I'll have to show my wife your drawing. She has always loved ladybugs since a young child--so much so it became her nickname when she was 5.

I created a vector from your uploaded Lady Bug. I added a texture and then selected the leaf and the texture, pressed Q on the keyboard and this clipped the texture inside the leaf.
The .xar file is included for your inspection.
