I don't think there is a slide show that scales to any width. You can create a slide show using Xara Slideshow which is back in the Content Catalog and use large images.
For this to work on your page you will need to un-check the option Clip to Page Edges.

Not my website, Bob, I'm just a volunteer moderator.
I'll try to get someone from Xara to fill in on this.

I think it is just meant that you are now able to apply stretching to full width to the widget.
Ah, OK, I just looked at Bob's screen shot again.I think it is just meant that you are now able to apply stretching to full width to the widget.
This applies to the Xara Slideshow. So, when you add images to your slideshow, you can apply Stretch Properties to make the image stretch the width of the visitor's screen.
Right click on the image, then from Web Sticky/Stretchy properties, select Stretch > Full Width.
That said, when an image stretches, parts of the image are cropped out. So when you select images for this, make sure the content you want will still be there when the image stretches (in the horizontal center of the image for example) and also make sure the image has sufficient resolution to stretch to a wide monitor.

Gary is there a rule to use bigger size images for this? For example for screen res. of lets say 1920px what picture res. should be used?
The image at a width of 1920 pixels should be no less than 96dpi.Gary is there a rule to use bigger size images for this? For example for screen res. of lets say 1920px what picture res. should be used?

So if the screen gets bigger than that, then the 96px will become less and blurry, correct? Hard to know when the user will use a bigger monitor.
I think you have to design more to the common denominator. https://techtalk.pcpitstop.com/2017/...-display-size/
A lot of people have laptops, many use tablets, and then some people have 32" curved monitors.
