unless you want to squish the bitmap.. and you know what.. NOT ALL BITMAPS ARE PHOTOGRAPHS - SQUISHING CAN BE NECESSARY [even with photos, sometimes]

sounds like the web kicking the drawing into touch yet again... but a registry 'fix' may be on the way I understand, for those who need it
