Xara DPX15 freezing on startup trying to run Topaz plugin

I had only one tab open in Xara DPX15, photo, with Topaz effect on it. Don't know whether or not I locked it before exiting, but now Xara freezes on this with a message at the bottom, 99% ...... Adding colors to document. It just sits there.

From what I recall, there an ini file somewhere that contains information about the open tabs. Does anyone know where it is, and what I should do to get Xara to open without trying to open this first tab page with the image and run Topaz effect?

Startup Xara>go to taskmanager and end the cambridge32 exe task
Go to your backupfiles folder and delete the hanging file

Hi haakoo,

There is no cambridge32 in the task manager. It doesn't get loaded.

I removed the latest .xar from the backups folder, restarted Xara15, got an error, had to use task manager to quit, restarted Xara15 again and got message that there was a problem last time and to open the backup project manually. The program started fine. I'm back in business.
