    Here are my steps:

    Uninstalled current v15 version
    cleared app files
    cleared x15 folder files
cleared v15 in registry with regedit
Used ccleaner to delete any cached files
    hard rebooted pc
    Re-installed with -force
    Re-activated the installation
    opened the program and gues what;

The annoying message is still there

Let me say that this new magix approach was done in a hurry and not being thought through
    Hi hakoo,
how I wrote before, this only works with the en-GB version. I tested all installation variants and only the en-GB works without this massage.

When you start the installer with "-force", you can choose the language.
One of those selectable languages is English UK (or GB, I don't remember).

the installer file is,no matter where i download it from xara.com/uk or xara.com/us or magix.com/nl ,the same

    trial_designerprox15_dlm.exe

when hovering the file it shows Xara Designer Pro X (en-US)

When istalling I chose the en-GB version but the message is still there

That's weird. Indeed the installer file is always the same, but that doesn't matter since it is only a downloader for the "real" installer, that is chosen depending on the selected language.

As far as I could find out, the locale is defined in two places with V15:

    ‪a)
In the file C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro X\15\install.cfg and

    b)
in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\Xtreme Pro x64\15\Options\Install\Language.

But since you deleted both before reinstalling, I don't see how those still could affect your installation...
Did you try running Xara as administrator? Does that also show that message?

Better wait for a developer to answer this (if they can?),as it shouldn't be this way in the first place, now does it.
Why should we be messing around in the registry to make a program run in a normal way
Let's say it again, it was done in a hurry

I quite agree. But waiting for a developer might take a while and you're annoyed now.

Running V15 as administrator was what led me to the registry issue in the first place, as it ran perfectly fine as admin but not with my normal user account. So it had to be some setting specific to that very user...

did that already and still there

Besides those news messages should be within the program and to be shutof by choice(which we can but doesn't adress this message)

    Hi Guys,

Apologies for the delay in replying to this thread. The problem has been found and fixed, and should be in the next patch that is very soon to be released.

    Thanks!
