I will also add something that would facilitate my everyday work in Xara Photo & Graphic Designer. Here are the most important for me which are missing in this program:
- Snapping to the path
- Pantone pallets
- Export your own color palette
- Offset path
- Transparent white color in bitmaps (the image is in 1-bit color mode)
- Intelligent removal of unnecessary nodes from the path (without affecting its shape)
- Graphic styles
- Macros
- Ability to set the fill of closed objects to no color by default to be able to save as template
- Mould tool update
- Corner tool
- Join tool
- Eye dropper (color and attributes picker)
- Bitmap trace update
- Brushes update
- Vector pattern (fill tool)

At the end, one more issue which hinders and prevents smooth operation is a visible thin line between shapes that do not overlap only with edges, eg after trimming shapes. This error does not occur in Adobe Illustrator.

that s probably the anti-aliasing, especially if it 'comes and goes' when you zoom in and out

if so you can switch it off - xara window menu /view quality: change to 'full colour'

I know that only in Illustrator it works in the best display mode. When I turn off the anti-aliasing function, pixels are visible after the file is exported to the bitmap format. And here is the problem.
