    certainly a screen grab is going to take only the visible elements and all other embedded data will be lost

    it is also possible to open the image file in an image code editor, strip out all the code elements you dont want, and be left with a 'clean' copy - question is how likely is it anyone would go to such lengths?

    And that's the point re the OP's question HD. I you place an image on the internet, to have it display on a visitors screen you have to loose copyright control in reality. The only way you can avoid this is only to supply thumbnail sized images and link to a 'purchase xxxx px x yyyy px version'

    sure - we have had this discussion before here... watermarking is the only practical way on a publicly accessable site
