Hi Starmo, had a quick look at your site and there's not a great deal wrong with it. In places you have grouped text which on export Xara then creates a graphic, not ideal for SEO. In other places you've used text lines that are centered but not all the same lengths such that you get the staggering on your Electrics section. Personally I think the site uses to much centered text, but that's only my personal view.

Is this a fairer version of what your after? Let me know when you've seen it & I'll delete it.

    Hi Egg,

Thank you for your input, and yes your points are valid, I will make those changes.

However making changes is the problem at the moment. Any changes made in Xara seem to be exported ok to my local drive, it all goes wrong on the upload to the server, that link I sent you was to my Google drive showing the index.html file.
I upload that (with the html files) and it displays the website as you saw it, I have now reverted back to the saved update on the live site.
I have tried uploading using both Filezilla and Cyberduck. and Xara of course.

Never had a problem like this before in 15yrs!

But... as I have just realised, you have uploaded the site with no issues!

So something is going wrong from my machine upwards, oh great, now I have to find that!

Not following you there Starmo. It just opens a file that looks like a page source file.

    I'm somewhat puzzled (and tired)

Just an update on this issue.

After getting help from Egg Bramhill (Thanks) and contacting Xara support and my hosting provider, the problem disappeared overnight! No change had been made and the test page I had put on the server showing the problem (my hosting guys confirmed they could see it) had corrected itself the next day..

    Somewhere, the Gremlins were busy.
