Stu i really like that optical illusion one. That's looks really cool.

And Chuck that's a classic example of what vector graphics are all about -- clean lines, and a solid looking effect. Very nice. I myself have a hard time creating images that come across visually like that. Not sure why...

Hey that's a great one Gare. Similar to some of the stuff i've seen ya do with Xara 3D. Cool colour scheme too.

Ok this thread has really started to get my blood flowing about this subject. So now i'm just going to unload a few more and stopw there. hahaa This COULD go on forever!

All of the following were done using only Photoshop.

First one up is a CD Jewel Case.

Next up is a couple bolts, some rust, and both effects set against a steel panel.

3rd up is a classic glass/crystal ball effect.

And last up, and i'm going to stop here because i'm hogging the spot and this could dribble on for days...

A chrome ball with some environmental effects.

This one and the other glass ball effect were originally created to show someone on a Photoshop board i visit that these types of effects are indeed capable with only Photoshop, if you put in the time to really learn the program.

Note: it's a replication of a 3D image created/used on a Website called "whowe.com". They used 3DMax and Flash. So i take no credit for it's design.
