And this is an image i created, also with Xara 2, for a DJ friend of mine. It's the record player he always wanted, but never got.
I used some photos for visual reference, but i didn't trace over them. I just used my eyes, from scratch. I don't mind saying, i'm quite proud of this one because in the end it came out better than i'd hoped. Took about a week, working a little each night on it.
It looks great as a full-sized desktop image.
Sorry for the larger file size, but Jpg compression has killed the quality a lot here. I had to stop at 50%.
PS: oh and i forgot i wanted to add that the one thing i'm really NOT impressed about with Xara is how it just canNOT render clean tight-looking text at smaller sizes. That's always been a thorn in my side.
