Default SEO - page description and page file name

    Hi all

Was wondering if one of you experts could clarify the position re page descriptions and page file names for SEO purposes please?

My understanding is that for SEO it would be good for both to contain keywords, but that the page description should be in plain english with spaces between words and that the page file name should use underscores or dashes between words?

    Could anyone clarify please?

Hi nobbyy, I believe dashes (hyphens) are better to use than underscores. There are numerous links on this subject but they all recommend hyphens.

Yes - I use hyphens (dash). Its also easier to read in the browser bar, which makes for happy clients, customers and the almighty Google
