    Default How integrate new font ?

    I am looking for a font "old cave". It's not in xara's list of website fonts.

    https://www.dafont.com/old-cave.font

    @font-face {
    font-family: 'old_cave';
    src: url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.eot');
    src: url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
    url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'),
    url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
    url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
    url('/fonts/old_cave-webfont.svg#old_caveregular') format('svg');
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
    }

    But is there a way to integrate this font in xara web designer ?

    I was too optimistic
    The font once installed under Windows works in Libreoffice for instance. I can also select the font in XWD. But any special characters like "(", ".", "?", "!" are invisible when I type them. Very strange and a little bit unpractical.

    In addition, I can't apply italics style to the font in xara. Even wordpad has no problem with this font, so I find it a bit strange that in xara there are so many problems. Xara takes the font characteristics over from windows, but why does do this only in a partial way ?

    The special characters are probably missing from the font.

    There are tons of fonts along the line of what you mentioned. Check on the sample of the font and you will see a character map of the available characters.

    Sample, where ?

    Please see screenshot. Libreoffice, wordpad all take the special chars, Powerpoint for instance not.

    If you follow your link https://www.dafont.com/old-cave.font you can see there are only uppercase characters. There are lowercase characters but they are the same as the upper case.

    You're so Cool has more extended characters https://www.dafont.com/you-re-so-cool.font
