Default Help making 3D Spinning logo

So I am not very tech savvy when it comes to graphical work. I have tried multiple ways (PS, AE, etc) to make this but to no avail. Wondering if anyone on here would be willing to help me out?

Nothing too hard. Just make this spin in a slow rotation.

Thanks in advance for what i am sure will be amazing work I could never figure out!

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Most of the members of this community use Xara/Magix products. Xara 3D Maker can do this http://www.magix.com/us/xara-3d-maker/detail/

Have a look. I think there is a free trial offer.

Best if you have the logo as a vector image so the background will be transparency.

Slapped it together with Cinema 4D. Sorry no transparent background right now. Not sure how to turn it into a GIF

I don't think a spinning logo will be a trend, as its using situation is very limited and making a good spinning logo requires experiences and a lot of works. I don't see many good spinning logos.
But if you insist, the simplest way I can think of is:
First create a 2D logo in DesignEvo logo maker and adding Glow and Outline, it will be a 3D logo. Download it.
Go for Blender Designer, and design 3D and make it spin.

The two tools mentioned above are all freewares.

That sounds like a whole lot of work, it's much easier to do with Xara products.
EDIT: The thread handrawn pointed you to is a good one..

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

I have to agree in that spinning logos won't be a mainstream trend. There's a place for them though and it's a fun way to show off your brand identity. You can design a 2D logo with a service like GraphicSprings and then take it to magix.com/us/xara-3d-maker/detail/. Hope that helps!
