remove page from mobile site

Hi

I'm looking to remove pages from my mobile site but retain them in my main site. I can delete the page from the mobile site but it also deletes it from the main site.
I know I can break the link so to speak to remove certain items but not a page. Can this be done? if how?

You are correct if you delete a page from one variant it is deleted from the other(s).

In the mobile site, DO NOT link to pages you don't want to appear.

Couldn't that cause a problem when you're a viewing a page on a mobile device in landscape mode and then flip the device vertically in the case of a page that's only available in the main variant?
