This is something that has to be done with your web host. I believe you have to have a certificate for your site.

Yes, you need to get an ssl certificate for your server. It's a long time since I used a paid version and I've never used a free version but there are quite a few free ones about but I couldn't recommend a particular one as I've never used any
Not recommending GlobalSign here, just a video explaining what an ssl certificate is.
