Default Everything but the kitchen Cinco

Okay, I confess that I'm a gringo, and my idea of authentic Mexican cuisine is Taco Bell's 3 Crunchy Tacos Supreme® Combo, medium soft drink.

So with the big Holiday coming up, I'd like to salute our neighbors to the South, like Gary Priester.

Remember: When Life hands you lemons, ask for the salt shaker and the tequila.

Hey, Ron, I'm not happy with the composition; Gary P. has been of great help in the past bringing all my elements together for me; Cinco de Mayo is only a few days away, and I wanted this piece off my drawing table (euphemistically) and displayed somewhere.

Gary P. helped me out with this one, which was printed in the Official Guide:

I had one goal making this piece: could it be mistaken for a photograph at a casual glance? C&C welcome.

    A photograph, for sure.
I’m kind of bothered by the change of shading in the foreground; that is, the sand’s shading.
However, there is very little that I inderstand.

I'm not thrilled with that area, either, Ron. It was the color difference between wet and dry sand. I came close, but not perfectly, to matching the tones.

    Good call!
