Default Directory On my hard drive

As a very non-tech person, I am still trying to learn as much as I can about technical terms as they relate to computers and website building and design. When I save a file by a certain name, is that same name also the directory for the file? Also, can I also create a folder to place a website or form file in and how do I do that? I hope these questions are not confusing. If they are, I will try to clarify. Thanks so much all.

Create a new folder in My Documents and name it something like "Robert's website".
In WD, create your site and save it into that folder with any name you like - "my website 1" for example - it will have a .web or .xar extension depending on what software you're using.
You also export your website into that same folder.
    Hope this helps.

    Good Thursday Morning,
Letsgofishing and thank you very much for responding. Sometimes I don't like asking questions about stuff I believe I should already know, but I force myself to do it. Thanks so much.

There's no such thing as a stupid question. Ask away!
