Select tool not functioning properly

Hello,

When I choose the 'select' tool, it is acting strangely. If I am hovering over an object, it will function as intended, but if I move off the object and try to 'outline' multiple objects for selection, the tool goes into 'resize page' mode. Any idea what might be going on?

Not really. Did you try to restart the program or even reboot your computer?

Yes, I did both.

I assume you still have the issue but don't have problems with other software. So, just trying another thing, probably a long shot: Have you tried opening/creating another document to check if the problem is perhaps only related to a particular file (that perhaps got corrupted)?

Hi Gregg,

Are you starting your marquee drag on the edge of the page by any chance and in Options | Page Size is the "Lock page size" button unchecked?

If so, try starting the marquee drag somewhere else and/or check the "Lock page size" button.
