Can't create navigation bar from custom made button

Great point Ernie. I always use simple text and set the Justification to Center Justify.

No, but sometimes creating buttons is quirky and from time to time something gets corrupted and does not work as it is supposed to.

Thanks everyone for your help. I tried it today and got it to work fine. Took a couple of tries as my mouse over effect didn't work properly. I think the key was to have the button set to not do anything then the option to create a navigation bar appeared.
