Disappearing guides

Hi, As of this morning my guides keep disappearing, pull a new one down and it zips back out of sight. I'm in the middle of producing a book cover, so this is, um, inconvenient... even tried reinstalling. Nope.
Help, please

Ah...they've come back..weird. Mind you, my copy of Windows ten has been a tad flaky, takes ages for Xara to boot up...

Glad we could help. Sometimes a file gets corrupted and the best thing is to shut down, maybe even reboot and then see if the problem goes away.

I find too, the longer I work without saving my document, the better the odds of a crash. (Even though Xara does backup every ten minutes).
