After having done the layout on xara, the client wants to edit the text. What is the best way to export the text?

As in make changes? Or edit the text on the actual site?

Not a site, print layout. He wants to make changes and edit his writing/content.

You can export as PDF or Rich Text Format though neither of these is ideal. Best might be to copy the text and paste it into an email, then let your client edit the text, send it back and you can replace the existing text. You will need to format it one way or the other.
