Can not update Xara Web Designer Premium

Keep getting the following message:

Automatic check failed
The update has been checked and is corrupt. Installation has been cancelled.
Do you want to restart the update process?

I've tried restarting the update process, but, keep getting the same message.

This is installed on Win 10
I am running it as Admin on 64 bit
I have uninstalled and re-installed
Any thoughts on what I can do to correct this?

This can be quite perverse but I have had problems like this in the past and it was my firewall once and on another it was a wireless mouse! Try downloading the 32-bit version and see if that works.

Xara tries to make it simple by updating from the application but every fail then requires another download. Try downloading direct form Xara's site when you application is not open.
