    Default file size

Would you recommend bringing in images at hi-res and saving the website file to my computer or bring them in at 96dpi and saving the file to get the smallest file size on my computer? Also Memory wise which one saves me more memory?

    Thanks.

Not sure what you are trying to do here.

Most computers these days have more hard drive space than one could fill in a lifetime.

Use copies of images optimized to 96dpi for your web design but keep the originals in another folder in case you need to reuse or modify the original.

Well, my system stat is as below until I get a powerful computer, not sure when.
    Intel core2 Duo cpu T9300 @2.50 Hz, 4M RAM, Nvidai quadro NVS135M. Win 7 at 32bit.

I was mostly concerned with the size of a website, how big can a website be or do I need to divide it into folders. I am working on an extensive site for my portfolio and it may be too big to fit into above ram.
