Yep, I agree... 15mins and then it closes the session and saves what it's donloaded so far. I'll get it tomorrow at work on a 2Mb/s connection but the timeout is too close for 512Kb/s that I have at home (only getting about 32KB/s download rate from their server - not enough to get in under 15 mins!)

Obviously modem users will only get about 3 or so Mb before it times out http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

I used to get 29.6Kb/sec, but this morning I got up to 48.7Kb / sec and it came in just 14.40sec.
Just enough time to get the full version.

I thing 15min server time out is not enough.

The download is admittedly bigger than we'd have preferred. This is because the demo movie is included with it.

This 15 minute thing I can't comment on, but will try to find out.

I've been able to confirm the problem... you're all correct on the 15 min thing.

I've passed this on to the relevant people, but being a Sunday I think this isn't going to be solved until tomorrow really.

I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused to everyone, and we will get it sorted ASAP.

btw i an using 1mb adsl
but i cant get faster than 36 kb/s so i get 90% at best b4 cut off

The Xara3D.exe file has now been relocated, so you should now be able to sign into your accounts again and download it.

The demo download installs fine but the purchased one gives a 6002 error on install. I have downloaded it twice, cleared temporary folders and have a good adsl connection.

Any ideas?

I bought Ver 6 but the download was only 23megs.....did they reduce the size of it??

My previous download was faulty - it reported the same error on a different pc.

Downloading failed twice - chopping well short of the 23.6 due. This is on 1Mb ADSL link.

So I am 3d-less.
