Default How to create a member's login page?

I am a novice, but I produce a static web site for my local Probus group - but now the members are asking if I can allow them to log into a membership page (which I don't have, but could produce using an Excel spreadsheet) and change their details.

I have no idea how to do this and have searched the forum, Googled it and so on, but to no avail - can anyone help please?

Try Member Login Pro by Steve Dawson. It is a php login program. Your host needs to support mysql databases but most do. And the price is good (about 20 us if I recall correctly).

Welcome to TG ptou66. This has been asked many times. Google the following. Don't click the link on this page, just copy all and paste it into a browser search engine.

Thanks. Not know how to set up a secure member login and database has been an issue keeping me from committing to using Xara WD. I will look over the the links Egg offered and give Login Pro a try.

If you are happy for all members to use the same login, look at password protected folders in cpanel (if you have it)
