Is there a way to recover last iteration of .xar file if accidentally overwritten?

Hello,...I'm using Xara Designer pro X10 and somehow in my stupidity I must have made abrupt changes to a file because when I went to access it this morning,..almost all of the orignal iems on it were missing. Is there a temp folder that may have the previous iteration of that file so i can recover it? (or am I dead in the water with my own bad self?)

Yes open recent and down at the bottom click backups.
