Cannot move imported image in Xara? HELP!!

I'm simply trying to move my images that I have imported or pasted into Xara.

It has never done this before (It keeps clipping the image instead of moving it):

When I encounter strange, unpredictable behavior like that I close & restart the program. It might work...

Boy's suggestion is a good one.

I don't have 6 installed but another thing you could try is dragging and dropping..

As for you GIF problem it's hard to say.
Have you File/New/Animation (Shift+Ctr) before you imported the animation? You should get a list of all the frames and preview.
"too large" What size are they? Normally shouldn't be a problem, but, if it is reduce the size of all the elements in each frame.
Did you make them yourself?

EDIT: I looked again at your link. Select only one animation to open, that should help.

That's weird. Boy's suggestion is always a good place to start.

Where did you copy the photo from? And I would drag and drop the photo onto the page form either the desktop or a folder. Or File > Import.
