No I'm just trying to get the left and right edge not to be cut off on the background HTML graphic.

Ah, it's far easier with a web/xar file Gilbert

Your, Xara web file for some reason has no pasteboard or page background layer. It just contains a bitmap image.

Edit: It's not a web file it's a photo file.

    Perhaps the attached can help.

    See the attached xar file.

I'm sure you're right, but in Xara in the title it says it's .HTM. And the slight blue all around the page is supposed to be the background. Should the page you see be the background?

If you want the background to be a separate color then drag and drop a color onto the pasteboard area.

It seems as though there are two bgrounds, The one in the center and then the pasteboard bground. I was wondering if I should leave it blank and put the saved .htm on top of that?

Thanks Egg. With your streamer I finally got the picture; have been using the wrong format all along, so it was a hit-and-miss. Sorry I've been so much of a headache. Showing that I'm a novice I'm not quite sure which of the WEB formats to choose.
