Now here's a totally meaningless but interesting point. Jvila (Montevideo), Ginger44 (Cape Town,) and Peter Prewett (Tumut, NSW), lay on an almost straight line East/West (between 34 & 35 degrees South) with 96 miles separating them North/South but 10,800 miles separating them East/West .

The Xara force is obviously very strong in the 35 degree Southern Latitude Zone

Cheers and thanks for that Scotty. Unfortunately your map projection appears to be some sort of elliptical projection, whereas google maps tend to be cylindrical (Mercator) type projections. This would make it impossible to correctly position locations from a google map to your map.
