Smart Photo Grid Pop-Up Issue

I added a large number of photos to a Smart Photo Grid #2. Xara 365. When I click on the grid, no matter what I do, right-click grid, web-properties, image. It will not keep my settings, this most important of which is the pop-up checkbox. I have tried from drop down menu, every possible way to get web properties, image. Every method does not work, even from layer page.
I have 8 pages with photo grids, only one works properly. So to summarize when I set grid to pop-up, and I preview or publish the page, when I mouse over the photos the magnification icon does not appear over the photos.
