    Default Logo Change for Client

A client (who is also a friend) asked if I could make his logo in gold. This is what I did...

He sent me a logo with a white bounding box around his logo. Plus, the image was pitifully small (about 400 x 400 px).

The gold version is difficult to read. If the blue one wasn't there I wouldn't have known what it said. Form and Function are at odds with each other.

Classy, but frightful has a point, a drop shadow and/or darker/thicker bevel edge would make that stand out off the page.

Totally agree. BUT the gold can be a gold color or a more gentle gradient and both look good and be readable.
