    Beautiful. Photoshop or Xara? Just wondering if you have tried any of the new blending modes for this kind of work.

    Photoshop I'm afraid. Last time I tried you couldn't apply texture or the like selectively to areas using the equivalent of Photoshop's layer masks in Xara. I'll have to have a look and see what can be achieved with the new blending modes but for me it is the ability to selectively erase them that's important for something like this.
