    Lightbulb Drawn studies of hands

I think this is a wonderful replacement for a hand mirror when you need to draw an expressive hand, be it digitally or with a real, actual, dead tree pencil.

Typical copywriter. One of mine had the temerity to walk into my cube and say, "I need a pair of hands..." I should have given him a pair of fists. We're ad agency supplies, not where the central creativity lies.

Commercial artists always get the short end of the stick, but the larger end of a paycheck.

I, and probably you, used to do pencils before finishing a rough of a print ad. Classically, this is how you begin: with an oven mitten!:

nice oven glove [you say mitten] to hands Gary I remember those from school

these days, courtesy of cartooning, I break into a sweat if I try for more than three digits per hand [knuckles, what are they? ]
