    Default Installing radio player

    Hi guys, im setting up an online radio station, ive done it all before so i know what im doing, problem i have is when designing the mobile version, when i upload both sites, problem i have is the stream is playing twice on the main page, any idea what to do

    Sean, you have copied the player widget into the Variant and as both main and variant are downloaded, with only one visible, you are getting two players kicking off.
    You probably need to set them both to Off and allow the viewer to pick the visible one.

    Hi Acorn, I would like the player to just start though, but if thats gonna cause probs, then i will set it to off instead of auto, Thanks for quick response

    I have a number of radio stations. I don't think that there's a workable way to launch a stream through a web browser on a mobile device. There's certainly not a reliable one that I've found. You need an app really.

    Thanks Jimi, I have the radio playing on mobiles, its just the repeat sound that i cant figure out, i have tried using differant player on mobile version, but that wouldnt work, guess i will just have to build an app, thanks guys

    Yes that's what I meant about not finding a reliable way. You'll always get multiple streams opening and streams just firing up again for no reason, which will annoy your listeners when they suddenly get huge data uses if they find they've been streaming throughout the night or while their mobile device was unattended.

    Like I said, you need an app.
