I agree, Egg. I don't mind working with the registry, I have to do it often for tweaks/fixes for clients when they've messed something up, but it shouldn't be necessary in this case. I would say the FTP publishing system should work better out of the box, but if this happens often (which it appears it does) they should add the ability to change timeout settings in the program.

The curious thing for me is that it wasn't always strictly a timeout error, it was often a 'file not found' error. And, the fact that it always failed in exactly the same place. From the way it was working, I would have (almost) bet money that upping the timeout values wouldn't have worked in my case. But it did.

In any case, I like the program overall, and now I feel better about spending time building a real site with it...
