Can't get links to work

Hi,

I'm trying to add a link to a graphic image (a flag) so that when the user clicks on it the relevant page is displayed.

This is what I have done:

Placed graphic on index page.
Right clicked on graphic to show "Web Properties" and selected the "Link" tab.
Clicked on the "Link To" button, and selected the web page from the drop down list.
Clicked "Apply" and "OK"

When I preview the page the and click on the flag image nothing happens, and the cursor stays as a pointer and doesn't change to the finger as should happen on a link.

I also created a text link with the same results.

Links from a navigation bar work fine.

I must be doing something very silly, so can anyone help please?

What you describe should work so it is hard to tell what might go wrong. Can you post a minimal example xar or web file in which the problem can be observed?

You placed the flags on the Page Background. Promote them to the MouseOff layer.
