Default not exporting correct width in jpg files

    hello again:

I created a simple email insert using a 1000px X 1100px page size. when I export to jpg using 96dpi it changes the page size to 1272px X1086px. the excess width is just a white background, but it occupies a lot of real estate especially on mobile devices. I tried changing the settings to 1000 for width and it scaled the height as well. how can I control the aspect ratio of the export?

    thanks in advance!

Weird page contents (the clipped objects act weird here).

Open the page setup options. The page is an odd size. Set it to 1100 for the height.

In the export dialog, Select the bottom option in the Area to Save section of the Bitmap Size tab. It just says Page. Hit the Refresh button.

I exported at 96dpi and the attached is the result.

Something is causing the page to extend to the left, a lot.

Also have a look at your header. You have multiple instances of Taylor Electrics and the lighthouse image.

Yes, the file seems a mess. But with the page height fixed and making the choice I indicate, it does export to the correct dimensions. Else one needs to do a lot of cleanup I think.

Hi Ed, if you look in the page and layer gallery, the 7th item in layer 1 says text line, but it is a black rounded square (enlarge the item) and is not showing on the page. Remove this item and you will get 980 px width. I tried to attach a picture of a screen grab, but the attachment button is not working, sorry. Forgot to mention, put the page zoom at 25% to see the extra item.

    Ciao

Hi Ed, forgot to mention, you also have 4 blue squares that are not showing up, you will see them in the page and layer gallery.

Hi Ed, also found an extra lighthouse shape, look in page and layer gallery, layer 1, 4th item from bottom up.
