How to upgrade jquery.js?

I meet a problem that need to upgrade the "jquery.js" (v1.8.3) file, but I have no any ideas about this, does someone can help me how to figure out. Thank you.

Alexia, Xara v12 publishes "jQuery v1.11.1". To check add a Name of UsesJQuery to an object and Export locally in the folder open up jquery.js in Notepad and read the first commnet line.
