Thread: Page URL

    Default Page URL

Bit of a silly question , can anyone tell me why some websites have long page url's like the one below

http://www.yourdomain.com.au/skip-bi.../central-coast. I have heard about subdomains or folders and wander if this also helps with seo ? If so does anyone here know how too go about it .Looks like a great way to get extra key words in that someone may be searching. Thanks in advance

Simply place the published website inside a subfolder named 'central-coast', which is in a sub-folder 'skip-bin-hire' on your server.

Don't know if it helps seo wise though.

Below is a link to an interesting article re this matter. Basically there's no advantage to using sub-folders, so only do it if it helps you with the file structure.
