Question - Web site titles

Just doing some seo research , just wandering if someone can answer this . In xara when you go to utilities>web properties>Website and then to the title section , what does everyone else put in this section ? Do you put your business name or descriptive keywords as per other pages ? Just wandering if this is something i may over looked or may have been doing wrong . Thanks in advance

I'd put something like Bindi Enterprises | Home

The title is important within SEO. So if it's a local business try Bindi Enterprises | Iloilo | Philippines | Introduction |

In addition, a short description of the business is good too. This may have changed but you can have up to 12 words in the title.
