No.
I would use WordPress for that.
Having anyone post images to your domain is always risky.

So just recreate the site in Wordpress or link a page to a Wordpress page?

In my view, I would embed a WP site in a page in your Xara design as an IFRAME Placeholder (Embed a Website Widget).Originally Posted by microbits
If it it just for what you've advised, redesign all in WP. Linking to a WP site is the easiest but unless you have a back navigation link, people can lose context.
