Fonts Transferred to Outline

Hello

Have a printer who needs "The Fonts Transferred to Outline" Not sure what or how to do this in Xara. I am saving as a Pdf file.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you create the PDF, at least in XDP, there is a checkbox to convert the type to shapes (outlines, curves, same thing).

If your Xara product doesn't have this capability, save your design as a new file and indicate int he filename that it is the version where type is converted to shapes so you can open the correct one (the one without doing this) for any future editing that may be needed.

Now select all the type and press ctrl+1 or use the command under the Arrange menu. Now make the PDF.

Just to clarify, Arrange > Convert to Editable Shapes or if this option is not available, then Arrange > Combine Shapes > Add Shapes (or press as Mike says Ctrl + 1)

This removes all ability to format or edit the text and turns the text into vector outlines as requested by your printer.
