Internet Options discrepency.

Can someone look at the options window and tell me if they're getting the same window as the one on the right, i.e. no Cache Usage % box & no Cache Size input box ?

been like that for a while egg I reckon - the help file is probably out of date [not the only instance either ]

Cheers HD / Gary. It's just that I was having issues with the options being very slow to open (5-6 seconds) and the Internet Tab taking 10-15 seconds to open. I'd come across this problem in an earlier version of Xara, 3 or 4 versions back and finally one of the devs gave me the solution.... which I've now forgotten. Messing around looking at CPU-hogging in another thread accidently resolved this issue and it now opens fast as it should.

However I noticed this discrepancy between the help file & the actual display. I checked in 11 and it was the same as you say HD. Can't really see the value of this tab now without the older options.

well it still lets you clear the cache if you need to - the question is, is that necessary with modern OS/hardware.... setting a cache size probably isn't which may be why its not there anymore

Exactly. So why have the clear. The only other thing on this tab is Broardband or Dial-up.

well not everyone is on broadband - not even in the uk

Can't recall saying they were. I just don't see what assistance that choice is. Connection speed is connection speed

what you did say [earlier] was you could not see the point of the tab - there are more options on the tab is all I am saying
