I was working with Xara Designer X (the newest version) I experienced a suddenly change. When I try to import a graphic file, the file menu shows only icons instead of displaying an image of the file. How can I correct this?

I think it is a system setting.
Go to the control panel and open the folder options.
Uncheck the option to always display symbols.
Apply to all folders.

How do I get my drawings to appear rather than the Xara Icon when I go to open them? I'm using windows 10.

The instructions at the website didn't coincide with what my screen showed. The part where it directs to "right click on the explorer tab" doesn't help as there is no "tab" to click on.
I don't know what happened to the previews of the Xara files, but now all I get is the Xara icon. Annoying.

I'm getting preview pictures on all my files except for files with the .xar extension. Don't get it...

It's always been that way for me Ron so I am in the habit of posting a png along with my xar.
EDIT: Would be nice though.
