I see this too and I have a brand new, very powerful machine.

Me as well. And I have a 1 year old rig, custom built for high-end gaming. Of course, all that power can be of no use to Xara in case it is not used by the program.

Question for those of you who see black screens when saving/autosaving: What Antivirus software are you running?

    Thanks,

    Phil

Just the inbuilt Windows Defender. My specs: Win 10 Pro, I7 6850K, GTX 1070, fast SSDs, 32GB RAM.
My impression is rather that Xara can't make effective use of available hardware.

So I guess if we were to turn this into a feature request, then it would be worded as:

"Please change auto save to work in the background instead of as if the user themselves selected the save option...i.e. ninja auto-backups."
