    Default Another dumb question ....

Is there a way I can save just PARTS of a site that I may want to reuse in another site in the future without having to recreate it?

For instance, I'll create a layout for a site. One of the pages (or even a section of one page) has items I would like to use with another site without having to start from scratch.

How would I save just that portion of the page (like a collection of shapes and text that make up a portion of a page) so that I can include it in another website?

I don't want to create a template as I may only want to use that group of assets in another website.

Hope this makes sense to others.

    Hi Dijenha,

In Xara, on the site you've already created, select the page you want to copy in the P & L Gallery. Right Click on that page and select 'Copy Page'

Open a new web document in Xara and again in the P & L Gallery right click & 'Paste Page'

Save that document for future use

Perhaps not a dumb question Dijenga. I do not do web stuff but I am getting an education from questions like that. Thank you and thank you Egg and Acorn and Gary and anyone else I should have mentioned.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
