I don't use GoDaddy and I have websites created with Xara, wordpress and Pinegrow, neither of these where indexed by Bing for images.

Yet Egg has some images on Bing, and one of my websites has some but most none? This is really something I think XARA needs to address, whatever it is! Granted Bing isn't that great in Search Engines users, but that could change in the near future.
In the link I had posted #9 under the first note it gives a list of other accepted methods which includes an image sitemap.

This is the first one that came up on Google when I searched for Image Sitemap Generator
http://www.angeldigital.marketing/image-sitemap/
Yes, and Xara does generate a sitemap upon export if box is filled in correctly, which is what I used to index with both Bing and Google, and both were accepted as correct. Yet no images indexed with just Bing. Unless you are saying that Xara's sitemap generation is not complete and to use another 3rd party generator!
That would appear to be correct. Xara's sitemap is a sitemap of html pages as far as i'm aware. Remember it's quite simple to open an xml file in a text editor & see what's indexed & what's not.
To create an image sitemap try a third party image sitemap generator.
Here's an example of one:

On the other hand, here is the Xara generated sitemap for this single page:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">

<loc>http://ftp.parkeston.com/image-site-map.htm/index.htm</loc>

OK, I tried James suggestion, generated an image-sitemap.xml (with a scary 5600 images!!!) and tested and fetched with Google and all seems fine, did the same with Bing and am waiting for the 'Pending' and hope to see some images soon on a Bing image search.
So.....if this is the correct answer, and quite possibly it is, then XARA SHOULD INCLUDE THIS AS A TOOL within this product. If someone could bring attention to the staffI think many people could benefit.
Thanks Egg and James for all your help.
Mike
Let me ask a dumb question.
Why is it important to have the images index? I have always approached it that I want the page indexed so what is the benefit for the image indexing? I could understand if you where to be selling images and you need them to display in a search but for run of the mill type web pages is there a benefit? I am not trying to cause trouble with this question because I really do not understand the reason for this.

Yes, interested to hear that too. Perhaps if it's a product I can see the point, but a catch-all that includes navbar button states etc ....

Important yes. to me very important. I'll give a few reasons why image searches are important. Google web searches always show a set of images related to your search query - even though you didn't ask to see them. If your images show up there, then you have a better chance of someone landing on your site. Most people prefer to look at images, machines look at text, and since Google has indexed over 1 trillion images there must be a good reason for Google too. Also, my sites feel more complete if I see all indexing by most SE's are complete, not partial. Lastly, a picture is worth thousand words to the consumer. Egg, I would consider this a product as well as a service. Horseback riding is part of a Cuban culture and a huge part of tourism. My part is to help families that have never had an opportunity to work in the tourism industry and have a better quality of life. To date, three families are benefiting from this site.
